Gov. Gregoire presented her latest budget proposal on Wednesday. The proposal has three critical components that would impact restaurants:

• Repeal of the pop syrup credit
• Tax on carbonated beverages @ $.05 per 12 ounces at wholesale
• Tax on bottled water sales @$.01 per ounce at wholesale
